Initmate wedding at Cataway's Resort

I was lucky enough to be Bridget & Cambell’s wedding photographer for their special day! This one really got my creative juices flowing. The setting was just perfect at Castaways resort, with a thin layer of cloud offering a perfect diffusion of light for the shots.

Starting the morning by capturing all of the get ready moments, both the bride and groom were preparing in two of Castaways Resort’s, private chalets offering panoramic views over Karioitahi beach.

After their intimate family only ceremony inside at castaways and a brief gap in the weather clearing we ventured outside. We set up for beautiful couple shots overlooking the water with vast mountains in the background. We had the place to ourselves, giving us the time and space to capture some truly magical moments. Later in the evening we made a quick trip down to Karioitahi beach for some couples only shots and boy were they worth it!

Their day was intentional - from the details to their choreographed first dance. I honestly have so many thoughts, but I think the photos can speak for themselves.
