Wedding photography at The Boathouse Riverhead & Riverhead forest

I have had a lot of enquires lately for weddings at The boathouse at the Riverhead tavern so creating this long overdue share from one of the weddings I have photographed there.

Originally the plan with this wedding was for the ceremony to be held on the lawn with guests seated outside overlooking the river however the weather was a bit touch and go. Luckily this gorgeous venue has a marque available outside as a wet weather option, so the last minute decision was made to move the nuptials indoors this created a intimate setting for the guests and made for well balanced brightly lit ceremony photos.

After the ceremony we ventured less than 5 minutes up the road to the Riverhead forest where we created some bridal party magic taking a variety of Bride and groom and bridal party photos in the forest and surrounding areas. 

Back at the venue before the cocktail hour started we took the opportunity to capture a few shots down at the Jetty by the river. Followed by some night time wedding photography after speeches
